The True Cost of a Residency & Citizenship Programme

Every residency by investment programme involves multiple cost components — and the advertised investment minimum is rarely the only number that matters. A complete cost picture includes the qualifying investment itself, government application and processing fees, legal representation, due diligence charges, biometric and document costs, and in some cases VAT or stamp duty on real estate purchases.

We publish our pricing information transparently because we believe clients make better decisions when they understand exactly what they are committing to. Our advisors provide personalised cost breakdowns before any application begins — no surprises at the end.

What the Costs Cover

Understanding what each cost component buys you helps assess true programme value — not just programme price.

Qualifying Investment

The primary capital commitment — whether a donation, fund subscription, real estate purchase, or business investment. This is the largest single component and in some cases can be partially recovered after a qualifying period.

Government & Application Fees

Official fees charged by the host government — covering application processing, due diligence, biometrics, and permit issuance. These vary significantly by country and family size, and are non-refundable in most cases.

Legal & Professional Fees

Legal representation, document preparation, certified translations, advisory fees, and in some cases notary charges. Titan Global Immigration provides fully transparent advisory fee structures agreed upfront at the start of every engagement.

Pricing & Costs FAQs

Are the investment minimums guaranteed not to change?

No. Investment thresholds are set by governments and can change at any time. Greece raised its threshold from EUR 250,000 to EUR 800,000 in prime zones in 2024. We recommend confirming current requirements with an advisor before making any financial commitment.

Are government fees the same for all family sizes?

No. Most programmes charge additional government fees for each family member included — a spouse, each child, and any dependent parents typically each incur their own processing and due diligence fee. Family size can significantly affect total cost.

Is Titan Global Immigration's advisory fee separate from government and legal fees?

Yes. Our advisory fee covers our strategic guidance, application management, and ongoing support — and is presented transparently as a separate line item. Government fees and legal partner fees are additional.

Can I recover any of the investment?

It depends on the route. Real estate investments are retained as assets and can be sold after the qualifying period. Fund investments may return capital (subject to fund performance). Donation routes are non-refundable by nature.

Are there ongoing costs after the initial application?

Yes. Most programmes require renewal every 2–5 years, with associated government and legal fees. Portugal charges approximately EUR 3,488 in government renewal fees per two-year period. We build these into the total cost picture from the start.
